DOHA: Throughout Ramadan, Qatar Airways (QA) is offering its fasting passengers a special Iftar box to break their fast. The box, which has become a tradition on QA flights during the holy month, consists of local healthy delights.
The boxes are offered on board QA-operated flights between Doha and the Gulf, the Middle East and Levant countries during Iftar, in Premium and Economy Class, and serves as an alternative to regular offered meals.
The box contains hummus, crudites, a vegetarian sandwich, a pack of QA’s signature mixed fruit and nuts, water, laban, dates and Arabic sweets.
Premium Class boxes include a chicken shawarma, vegetable saaj bread wraps and a banana and Economy Class boxes include a vegetarian sandwich wrap with red pepper and falafel.
QA Senior Vice-President, Customer Experience, Rossen Dimitrov, said: “We continue to design excellent products that exceed QA passengers’ expectations. Ramadan is another special occasion during which we do our best to show our hospitality and ensure fasting passengers have a pleasant and seamless journey with us.”
QA’s award-winning cabin crew distribute boxes on flights to selected destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dammam, Dubai, Al Gassim, Hofuf, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Shiraz, Madinah, Jeddah, Najaf, Alexandria, Amman, Cairo, Salalah, Luxor, Khartoum, Mashhad and Ta’if.
