QPO Presents: Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 3

Led by Elias Grandy, QPO kicks off the evening with Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen Suite — a colourful, lively piece drawn from his cherished opera, bursting with folk energy and moments of warmth.
After the break, QPO is joined by James Zijian Wei, winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition, for Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 — one of the most thrilling works ever written for piano. Known for its power and technical demands, the piece moves between quiet, tender passages and full-throttle orchestral drama. Soloist and orchestra together make for an unforgettable night of music at its finest. Tickets can be purchased on Q-tickets and are priced at QR175, QR200 and QR275.

The Doha Players will perform The Little Mermaid, a stage production based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and Disney film. The musical follows Ariel, a rebellious mermaid fascinated with life on land, who strikes a deal with sea witch Ursula to become human for three days and her plans go awry. Tickets are priced at QR85 and QR160 and can be booked on Q-tickets.
Winter sports in June
