DOHA: Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) celebrated the World Day for Occupational Health and Safety in workplace in collaboration with the Qatar general Electricity and Water Corporation, Kahramaa, under the slogan ‘Take part in building a culture of prevention in occupational health and safety.’
QCS organised several awareness lectures and training workshops in Arabic and English.
Among them were lectures on cancer prevention and early detection methods and the importance of periodic inspection, proper nutrition, and public health. Representatives from the primary health care Corporation, nutrition centre and Hamad Medical Corporation were also present
at the event.
