DOHA: Qatar and Romania today singed a Protocol supplementing the Air Transport Agreement between the two countries. The agreement will exempt visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the two countries.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and his Romanian counterpart Victor Ponta witnessed the signing ceremony, according to Qatar News Agency.
Both the leaders held talks and reviewed bilateral relations and means to develop them further, particularly in the economic and investment fields.
They also discussed a range of regional and international issues of common concern.
The Prime Minister hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the visiting Romanian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation.
