DOHA: Ezdan Holding Group held a celebration on International Workers Day in the presence of up to 500 of its staff members of different nationalities. During the ceremony, 71 workers were honoured for their commitment and dedication throughout 15 to 30 years in the service of the Group.
The recognition ceremony was held in the presence of Group CEO Ali Mohammed Al Obaidli and dignitaries from the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and embassies
“Today we honour more than 71 of our qualified workers who have spent nearly three decades in the Group. These people have proven their competence and diligence as they have witnessed all the development stages the Group went through, and inevitably, they were part of it. In addition, these workers were profoundly involved in the expansion of Ezdan to be a lofty edifice and a landmark in the world of business,” said Ali Al Obaidli in his speech.
Al Obaidli hailed the achievements of Qatar in ensuring and protecting workers’ rights: “On this occasion, we emphasise the role played by the wise leadership of Qatar and the remarkable efforts provided in the vindication of workers’ rights, aiming at improving their living conditions in line with the international Labour law.
