New York: The State of Qatar reiterated that it will continue to seek, in cooperation with international partners, to support possible ways to constructively contribute to the settlement of the Syrian crisis through a purposeful political process that leads to a political transition in accordance with the Geneva Declaration and the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2254 to achieve the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people and preserve the unity, sovereignty and independence of Syria.
This came in the statement of Qatar delivered by the First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sharifa Yousef Alnesf, before the United Nations General Assembly.
