Qatar condemns blast on Russian metro station

The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of an explosion on St Petersburg Metro in Russia, killing and injuring a number of people.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever their motives and causes. The statement voiced Qatar's rejection of criminal acts that terrorise the innocent and contravene human values and principles. It affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with Russia in all actions and measures taken to maintain its security and stability.
The statement expressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the Russian government and people and to the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
