Ezdan Mall, a subsidiary of Ezdan Holding Group, is participating in the 8th edition of Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) taking place from March 29 to April 8 at Hotel Park opposite Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel. Ezdan Mall pavilion attracted hundreds of visitors, and emphasized the group’s keenness to effectively participate in the community’s most prominent entertainment and cultural events as well as festivals in Qatar.
Through its pavilion, Ezdan Mall has introduced various types of fresh produce cultivated in its outdoor garden in front of Ezdan Mall’s Gate 4, which is allocated to organic farming. The Mall management and other governmental and private authorities have been working to realise such initiative as part of the “Green Dream 2022” initiatives aiming at spreading awareness about the most effective ways of preserving environment resources against pollution and damage, as well as building a culture of sustainable development.
In addition to the “Green Dream 2022” initiatives products, Ezdan Mall’s pavilion provides a variety of food and beverages from a wide range of regions most popular restaurants and cafés, as diverse as “Dairy Queen”, “Mado”, “Golden Dragon” and “Motee Mahal”.
On the participation of Ezdan Mall at QIFF, Malik Awan confirmed that the company was very keen to be part of this unique event since it is an opportunity for Ezdan Mall to shed light on its endeavours in promoting environmental awareness through the “Green Dream 2022” initiatives, along with launching several interactive community initiatives, and participating in raising public awareness in regards to the importance of sustainable development.
Malik pointed out to the tremendous role of the events and activities involved in the “Green Dream 2022” initiatives in bringing together various organizations, embassies and other agencies, especially students, around interactive lectures and workshops, tackling environment protection issues and alternative agriculture means. These efforts are key elements in supporting the realization of Qatar National Vision 2030, since the implementation of environment development plans are an essential pillar to this vision, in addition to human, economic and social development.
