Doha: The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law held its first meeting of 2025 at its headquarters in the Ministry of Justice, under the chairmanship of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Chairperson of the Committee H E Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee commended the achievements of the committee members and the activities and events they organised during the committee’s work programme in its previous sessions.
The committee also reviewed the agenda for the first meeting of 2025, which included the activities proposed to be organised during the current year, to enhance the Committee’s role in spreading and raising awareness among society and parties concerned of the provisions and principles of international humanitarian law.
