Al-Khulaifi said that AgriteQ 2026 records a significant leap in scale and participation, with the total number of participants reaching around 400, marking a growth rate of approximately 25 percent compared to the previous edition. International participation has seen remarkable expansion, with 164 international exhibitors, representing an increase of more than 100 percent, alongside 235 local participants.
In addition, he said, the exhibition will witness official participation from 38 embassies and international entities, a clear reflection of the growing regional and global confidence in AgriteQ and its objectives.
Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Municipality and a member of the organizing committee Dr. Faiqa Abdullah Ashkanani, highlighted the implementation of a comprehensive media plan to promote AgriteQ 2026 across local, regional, and international media and digital platforms.
She said that the plan focuses on showcasing Qatar’s role in supporting agriculture, highlighting national success stories, and raising public awareness of food security and sustainability. Spanning an area of more than 40,000 square meters over five days, the exhibition continues to strengthen its position as a leading regional and international platform in agriculture, food production, sustainability, and agricultural innovation.
AgriteQ plays a pivotal role in supporting the objectives of Qatar’s National Food Security Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly in enhancing local production, strengthening supply chains, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
AgriteQ 2026 brings together a diverse range of sectors, including plant and animal production, fisheries and aquaculture, horticulture and landscaping, food industries, transportation and logistics, biotechnology, and smart agricultural systems.
A key highlight is the AgriteQ Conference to discuss developments and future opportunities in sustainable agriculture, food production chains, climate change adaptation, innovation in food industries, and agricultural investment trends.
