The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' International Cooperation Department yesterday held a workshop in coordination with the Diplomatic Institute, on developmental aid policies of Qatar.
The workshop was also aimed at familiarising the participants with aspects of Emiri decision No. 27 of 2016 on the organisational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Participants in the workshop included members of charitable organisations, NGOs and specialised academic centres working in Qatar.
The workshop covered a range of topics including the best practices to maximise the national effort in the field of developmental and humanitarian aid.
It also discussed ways to guarantee the continuous flow of aid in accordance with the state's policies.
A third topic included producing periodic reports summarizing the activities of different organisations active in that field.
