DOHA: Qatar Central Bank (QCB) raised the deposit rate 75 basis points to 4.5 percent.
QCB also raised the lending rate 50 basis points to 5 percent, and the repo rate 75 basis point to 4.75 percent.
QCB said in a statement that the hike came following regional and international economic developments and will go into effect starting Thursday.
