DOHA: Law-enforcement agencies have busted a gang of four women who were breaking into houses and stealing gold jewellery and cash.
Stocks of stolen jewellery and cash comprising different currencies were recovered from the foursome after their arrest.
The Ministry of Interior said on its website that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) made arrests after a hunt.
Police has been inundated with public complaints that their apartments and houses were being burgled.
The four women were taken into custody. Gold jewellery allegedly stolen were recovered from them and the currency notes from one of the women.
