DOHA: A total of 489 abandoned vehicles were removed from various areas of Al Rayyan Municipality in the month of July, in cooperation with the Mechanical Equipment Department.
On its Twitter handle, the Ministry of Municipality shared photos of abandoned vehicles during the operation and affirmed that the action is part of its initiative to preserve the country's aesthetic view.
The removal of abandoned cars in Qatar comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to implement Law No. 18 of 2017 regarding public hygiene.
