Qatar Charity launches Udhiyah campaign

DOHA: Qatar Charity has launched “Offer an Udhiyah, Share the Happiness” campaign, marking the start of Eid Al Adha season.

The campaign aims to provide 39854 Qurbani cattle, which include cows and sheep inside and outside of Qatar in 29 countries throughout Asia, Africa and Europe. “Offer an Udhiyah, Share the Happiness” campaign will benefit around 900,000 people and will also provide Eid clothes for children in dire need.

The campaign targets 28 countries throughout Asia, Africa and Europe. It aims to provide 34864 Qurbani cattle and will benefit 867648 people. The campaign will provide 7,000 Qurbani cattle in the state of Qatar and will benefit 24000 people. The Qurbani will be delivered to low-income families, widows, orphans and elderly people over the third and the fourth day of Eid. The Qurbani delivery will also include farm workers in Simaisma, Al Ghariyah, Abu Nakhla, Al-Shahaniya, , Al- Khreib, Al- Wakra, Al Khor, Al-Jumayliyah.

Qatar Charity will coordinate with several foundations and communities to ensure a smooth delivery of the Qurbani to those less privileged.

Qatar Charity will also distribute Eid clothes and Eidi gifts to orphans and needy children. Alongside with “Offer an Udhiyah, Share the Happiness” campaign, several recreational and educational activities will be held in different malls across the state of Qatar, as well as coordinating with the ministry of health to arrange visits to patients in different hospital and medical facilities.

In cooperation with “Eid Al Adha Fair” which will take place at Katara cultural village, Qatar Charity will have a stand to promote activities about Haj, Udhiyah and The ten days of Dhul-Hija.
