Doha: The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) is executing a program meant to impart expertise during the FIFA World Cup 2026 held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This is part of its role in supporting the organization of this tournament and in keeping pace with the state-of-the-art thrust and global practices in the major events sector.

Among the Qatari talents taking part in this program is Shouq Al Mahmoudi, Director of the Maps and Drawings Department at SC, who undertakes the management of facility operations at Kansas City Stadium in the US during this tournament.
Representing the State of Qatar at this tournament is a source of pride, Al Mahmoudi said, adding that the engagement of Qatari talent in imparting this expertise overtly embodies the legacy of the successful hosting of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Al Mahmoudi further underscored that it was her great honor to represent the nation in the 2026 tournament and to impart her expertise that she had internalized in staging major events.
Leveraging this expertise and continuing to contribute to the organization of major global events, she noted, embodies Qatar's constant leading role in this field, along with the legacy that had been successful.
With her ongoing mission at Kansas City Stadium, Al Mahmoudi helps ensure the facility is fully primed ahead of each match through overseeing various operational aspects of the stadium.
She asserted that a great amount of work is accomplished behind the scenes, but every single detail, whatever starts in small amount, would surely help shape fans' experience.
The operation is to ensure fans arrive smoothly at the stadium to enjoy the matches, as these welcoming atmospheres simultaneously represent an honor and responsibility, Al Mahmoudi underlined.
Al Mahmoudi finished by emphasizing that she is greatly proud of seeing others benefit from Qatar's successes, explaining that her engagement in global events like the World Cup ensures that she remains at the vanguard of the best international practices, while organizational standards are promoted in every major event Qatar hosts.
Noteworthy, Al Mahmoudi is among the SC's expert team participating in supporting the organization of this tournament as part of a knowledge-sharing agreement between FIFA and SC.
The SC's experts are working side by side with the host cities team in the US and Canada, imparting their knowledge in multiple operational and organizational aspects by capitalizing on the experience Qatar had gained from the historic erstwhile iteration.
