Doha, Qatar: The Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund Management Board held its second meeting for the year 2024, chaired by Minister of Labour and Chairman of the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund Management Board, H E Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri.
During the meeting, several items on the agenda were discussed, as well as cases referred to the fund.
The meeting also witnessed the adoption of several decisions and recommendations aimed at improving the fund’s performance and effectiveness, contributing to the enhancement of the working environment.
The Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund, established under Law No. (17) of 2018, aims to support, insure, and care for workers, ensure their rights, and provide a healthy and safe working environment.
