Doha: President of the Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council H E Masood Mohamed Al Amri met yesterday with President of the Supreme Court in of the Republic of Indonesia Dr Mohamed Hatta Ali and his accompanying delegation.
They discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination in legal and judicial fields between the judicial authorities in the two countries. the Indonesian delegation was briefed on the organisation and work of courts in Qatar.
The two sides also discussed means of enhancing judicial relations between the two countries and held initial discussions on the draft of a memorandum of understanding between the Court of Cassation in Qatar and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. The meeting was attended by Indonesian Ambassador in Qatar Didi Saif Al Hadi.
