Oaxaca, Mexico---A bus overturned in southern Mexico on Monday, killing at least 12 people and around 30 others, authorities said.
The bus, which had departed from Santa Catarina de Juquila in Oaxaca state, flipped near a bridge.
The injured passengers were taken to a hospital in the nearby state of Puebla. Authorities had earlier given a toll of eight dead.
