DOHA: Mowasalat recently organised a Spring Festival with a variety of entertainment programmes for its 6,500 drivers and other staff.
Minister of Transport H E Jassem bin Saif Al Sulaiti, who is also chairman of Mowasalat, and other senior company officials attended the event.
The event included a special programme marking the conclusion of the annual Mowasalat Chairman’s Cup 2015, in which members of the organising committee, winners in the competitions, judges and the volunteers were recognised with certificates of appreciation, cups and medals.
Mowasalat CEO, Khalid Nasser Al Hail gave away the prizes to winners. He also picked the winners of the first raffle draw. The winners were given prizes such as laptop, smartphone, LCD TV, ipad, camera and iphone..
“We are happy to organise such an event which is not a just source of entertainment but also helps foster work efficiency by strengthening social connections among our workforce, by creating a healthy work environment,” said Al Hail.
