Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received on Monday a phone call from President of the Swiss Confederation HE Guy Parmelin.
During the call, HE the President of the Swiss Confederation inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the brutal Iranian attacks, voicing Switzerland's solidarity with the State of Qatar, condemning these acts of aggression, and affirming Switzerland's readiness to support everything that would enhance the security and stability of the State of Qatar.
HH the Amir voiced his thanks and gratitude to HE the President of the Swiss Confederation for these sincere feelings and the solidarity he showed, praising the close relations of cooperation and friendship that bind the two friendly countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of making efforts to de-escalate the situation and prioritize the diplomatic track and political dialogue as the best way to contain this crisis and preserve the region's security and stability.
