Officials of Keralaite Engineers Forum and team captains taking part in the Engineers Corporate Cricket tournament pose for a picture during the draw ceremony in Doha yesterday.
The Engineers Corporate Cricket tournament organized by Keralaite Engineers Forum (KEF) will kick off from March 8 at the Ideal Oval, at the Old Ideal Indian School, organisers of the event announced yesterday.
Galfar Al Misnad, L&T, Powerman International, Qatar Design Consortium, Mannai Corporation, Castle Constructions, Omega Engineering, Global Auto Parts, Coastal Qatar, Almoyyed Air-conditioning, Technosteel and Gulf Warehousing Company are the participating teams.
A draw ceremony was held at Oryx Rotana Hotel, in which captains of the participating corporate teams took part. At the meeting the tournament draw was finalised through a draw of lots.
KEF Chairman Sajeet George gave the welcome address.
Tournament rules was presented by Sudheesh Gopalakrishnan, team Jersey design was launched by Prakash Nair, pool draw was conducted by Sreenivas T S and Rahul Rajan. Kishore Nair, gave the vote of thanks.
