Quality Mall – Al Khor officially opened its doors for business yesterday -- the first day of New Year.
The year 2017 has paved way for Quality Group International’s latest new venture in the city of Al Khor. The grand opening took place at the new mall’s premises at 11:00am yesterday.
In the presence of P Kumaran, Ambassador of India to Qatar, Galma Mukhe Boru, the Ambassador of Kenya to Qatar, Sheikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Sheikh Jassim Tamir Al Thani, Mohammed Al Bakhri, Abdulla Al Amodi, Ibrahim Al Malkhi, Dr R Seetharaman, CEO – Doha Bank and other dignitaries, Shamsuddin Olakara, Chairman of the Group inaugurated the mall with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by a personalized tour of the mall for the guests and a reception. The public showed great support and eagerness for their new shopping destination in Al Khor.
Centrally located, the mall is of easy access to the public and its ample parking space makes it all the more favourable. On the occasion of the Quality mall’s inauguration, Shamsudeen Olakkara, the Chairman of the Group said, “I feel blessed and content with our first grand event of 2017 and am thankful for the attendance and participation of our distinguished guests and visitors. The Quality Group International has a couple of projects in the pipeline for this year and I hope that they are all well received and render to be successful.
The newly opened mall features a range of franchises, outlets and independent kiosks with clothing lines, fashion accessories, home appliances, electronics and more. The mall also has a range of services such as a foreign exchange, beauty salon, confectionery, laundry, pharmacy and an extensive food court, offering multiple cuisines and fast food joints which will be opening shortly.
The mall is undergoing works for a second phase already, wherein an entertainment zone featuring a a bowling centre, virtual cricket and football centre, gaming zone, and a conceptual snow house and is scheduled to open in conjuction with the Qatar National Sports Day.
