Twenty-two outlets representing Qatari farms and 12 vending vehicles selling local produce are featured at the first ever Mahaseel Festival which opens at 10am today at the Cultural Village- Katara.
Located in the southern area of Katara, the festival offers the best quality and affordable Qatari agricultural products including vegetables, fresh fruits, honey, poultry, dairy, fresh juices and flowers, among others.
A date palm exhibition, school competitions and weekly contests are among the other highlights of the festival organized by Katara to support and promote the country’s agricultural and livestock industry.
The festival will be open to the public until Saturday from 8am to 9pm, after which it will open every Friday and Saturday from 8am to 6pm until April.
