Doha, Qatar: Minister of Environment and Climate Change, H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie has affirmed that educational and academic institutions play a pivotal role in developing national capacities.
He noted that diligence, hard work, and perseverance are essential elements that enable young people to build their skills, achieve their aspirations, and contribute to Qatar’s advancement.
He made these remarks during a lecture delivered at Qatar Foundation’s Academic Bridge Program (ABP), attended by ABP students, members of the senior management team, and the President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation, Abeer Al Khalifa. During his visit to the ABP headquarters, the Minister was briefed on a selection of student projects focusing on environmental sustainability and artificial intelligence applications, in addition to the educational and training programs and services the ABP provides for pre-university students.
Established in 2001 by a decision of H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All, the Academic Bridge Program is one of Qatar’s leading academic centres, preparing and qualifying students for admission to Education City universities and top local and international institutions.
