ANKARA: Turkey has raised the minimum fixed tax rate on alcoholic drinks and raised the fixed tax rates on tobacco products as of Thursday, the country's Official Gazette publication said.
The tax hikes amounted to between 10-27.5 percent, according to CNN Turk and other media outlets.
