Doha, Qatar: The Police Academy received yesterday the 10th batch of candidate students, numbering 122, including six from Jordan.
New students will undergo a 50-day long first foundation program through which students will gradually transition from their civilian lives to their new military lives, receiving training and learning military discipline and communication. The Academy also received the 2nd batch of students for the Police Science Diploma program at the Police College, 118 students from MoI and 30 from Lekhwiya. The foundation program consists of two stages, which include military training in infantry, weapons, physical fitness, and shooting, in addition to introductory lectures in military discipline, military service law, and first aid training.
