Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged in telephone conversations greetings with a number of leaders of Arab and Muslim countries on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The Emir exchanged greetings with Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, H M King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Emir also exchanged Eid greetings with Iranian President Dr Hassan Rowhani, in a telephone call the Emir held yesterday.
The Emir exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, in a telephone call yesterday. The Emir also exchanged greetings with Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday exchanged cables of greetings with deputy leaders of Arab and Muslim countries.
Emir Exchanges Eid greetings with Speaker of Advisory Council
The Emir received a cable of congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
Al Khulaifi expressed in his name and on behalf of the Advisory Council members heartfelt greetings and blessings on the advent of Eid Al Adha, affirming full support for the Emir behind his wise leadership, expressing pride in his policies and wise management of the Gulf crisis and the unjust siege of Qatar, and his supreme directives and the awareness of the loyal people, which earned the solidarity and appreciation of the other countries and disappointed the siege countries.
Al Khulaifi expressed the Advisory Council’s appreciation of the substantial efforts and sincere endeavours of the Emir towards constant security and stability of the homeland. He wished the Emir best of health, success and blessing.
The Emir replied with a cable to the Advisory Council Speaker in which he extended his sincere thanks to the speaker and the council members for the greetings and kind sentiments on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, expressing his kind greetings and sentiments to them and hoping for a happy return of such an occasion to all of them. The Emir also wished the Advisory Council Speaker and the council members best of health and wellbeing and further wished more welfare, progress and prosperity to the people of Qatar.
