The Municipal Affairs sector in cooperation with the training department of the Ministry of Municipality organised nine specialised training courses in the field of food safety for health control inspectors in the municipalities in preparation for major events taking place in the country.
These courses aimed to raise the level and efficiency of major food establishments in the country such as hotels, logistical support stores and slaughterhouses, and to ensure that they meet the highest standards of health requirements and their commitment to food safety principles to ensure the safety and quality of food commodities during the next phase that will witness an increase in their operational capacity.
