Youngsters attend art workshop

Doha: Stenden University Qatar, in collaboration with Katara Cultural Village, hosted a  Youngsters Art Workshop. The university’s event management students collaborated with Katara Cultural village, patron of the workshop, at Ramadan Festival. 
The workshop from June 25 until 27 from 8pm until midnight at Building No. 13 at Katara aimed to blend the concept of innovation within the theme of Islamic architecture and enhance youth’s ideas and motivation by giving them opportunity to create, innovate and paint Islamic sculptures using sculpting tools. 
It brought people together to socialise, create and innovate in the field of art and handicrafts. 
Artist Mustapha Abbour from Souk Waqif Art Centre contributed to the workshop that .attracted over 70 people who created gypsum and clay sculptures in Islamic architecture. Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani visited the workshop.
