Doha: Strong winds are expected to continue today, causing poor visibility in some areas, the Meteorology Department said yesterday. Wind speed would drop from tomorrow, leading to an increase in relative humidity, especially on Friday and Saturday. “In general, the weather will be hot and relatively humid during the day to humid by night with misty to foggy by early morning at places,” the department said in a statement. During this period, the maximum temperature would be between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius. Wind speed is expected to increase again from Monday until the end of next week because of the impact of deepening of low Indian monsoon on the region, it added. the peninsula
