Sanad, a product by ASTAD, received the award for Innovations in CSR Practices and ASTAD Chief Executive Officer Engineer Ali Al Khalifa won CEO of the Year at The Golden Globe Awards recently held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Following the ceremony Al Khalifa said: “I am truly honoured to be named CEO of the year; however, above all, this recognition is a tribute to the outstanding achievements of all ASTAD professionals and especially the collective efforts of the Sanad team that has helped Sanad gain recognition for its corporate social responsibility.”
The award for Innovations in CSR Practices is the first award for Sanad since being launched just last month. Sanad is a product by ASTAD that aims to be a supportive tool that refines contractual procedures in the construction industry within Qatar and the region, while simultaneously utilised as an educational reference, further supporting Qatar’s vision to promote a knowledge based economy.
As part of ASTAD’s corporate social responsibility, the innovative solution is free for the construction industry to utilise.
