DOHA: The Advisory Council held today its regular weekly session and discussed two important draft laws. One regarding reconciling in crimes under some of the municipal laws and the second was issuing a law regarding the unified guiding regulation for the control of substances that deplete the ozone layer in the GCC.
The council decided to refer the draft laws to the ‘Services and Public Utilities Committee’ to examine the drafts and then present its report back the council.
The regular weekly meeting was held under the presidency of the Speaker of the Advisory Council, Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi. The Secretary-General of the Advisory Council, Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda, which was agreed upon. Then the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session, reports QNA.
