Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria HE Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
At the beginning of the call, HE the Algerian President inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the blatant Iranian attacks, expressing Algeria's full solidarity with the State of Qatar.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Algerian President for his sincere brotherly sentiments, which reflect the deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries.
Both sides emphasised the necessity of prioritising dialogue and diplomacy as a means to resolve the current crisis and prevent further escalation in the region, thereby strengthening security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
