Microsoft's Bill Gates tops billionaire list for 2016

New York: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates lead the Forbes richest billionaires of the world for the third year in the row. 
Gates fortune is estimated at $75 billion, $4.2 billion less than a year earlier. The US tech innovator has led the list for 17 of the last 22 years. In the 30 years Forbes has been preparing the list, only five people came top. Three of them continue to be in the top five. 
In second place was Amanico Ortega, who runs the apparel chain retailer Zara. His fortune increased by $2.5 billion to $67 billion. He leapt in front of legendary investor Warren Buffett, whose fortune is estimated at 60.8 billion. Buffett previously topped the list. Another billionaire who topped the list, was number four Carlos Slim. The Mexican telecommunication tycoon's fortune is worth $50 billion. 
Fifth and Sixth place were new entries; Amazon's Jeff Bezos and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg came fifth and sixth with $45.2 billion and $44.6 billion respectively.
