Occupied Jerusalem: A Palestinian youth shot martyred by Israeli forces near the settlement of Salit, south of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, for allegedly trying to stab an Israeli soldier.
Radio of Israel said that a Palestinian youth attempted to stab a soldier when he stopped him for inspection near the settlement of Salit. The soldier then fired at the Palestinian, killing him on the spot.
